Which course is better among BA in psychology and B.Sc in psychology?

B.Sc. In psychology is better because BSc psychology provides the students with deep knowledge in psychology and is opted by many students for their graduation. The students after their schooling choose to psychology as a subject for their graduation as the subject provides with new and wide opportunities for candidates. The students after their course will get deep knowledge in the theories of psychology and the areas related to it. The duration of the course is normally for three years and the course is normally conducted as six semesters. The students can get placed in health departments or can choose teaching as their profession. Many students after their course choose to work in the social and family welfare area. Their course of studies include Psychological Processes Research Methods and Statistical Applications Human Development Social and Cultural Psychology Environmental Psychology Community Psychology and Social Change Psychological Assessment Counselling and Psycho-Therapy Psychology of Human Resources etc.

Although there is no disparity between the syllabus and course components, a B.Sc. In Psychology is more similar to a B.A. In Applied Psychology. B.A. Psychology or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is a 3-year undergraduate course which is offered by many colleges and universities in India. The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is 10+2 qualification. This course is an academically demanding whose main objective is to produce graduates who will be able to weigh up evidence and arguments and make rational choices, be able to work cooperatively in a team, The honors are like learning one particular subject in depth and having some side subjects but mainly focusing on your honors subject. The eligibility of B.A. (Hons)Psychology is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English)+LPUNEST. Scope:- It is a vast and diverse field. It consists of many sub-disciplines and areas of specialisation. Looking from academic programs point of view, Psychology study can be approached in two ways Clinical Psychology courses Psychology (as a Social Science) courses BA in Psychology falls under the social Science category. It deals with the understanding the behavior, thinking and mind of individuals and groups. CAREER PROSPECTS BA in Psychology graduates have access to diverse job opportunities.
