Which course is better among BAMS and BHMS? I want to be a doctor.

    If you want to get a government job, then pursue BAMS because government institutions hire BAMS graduates for the primary health centers in the rural areas.
    If you want to start your personal clinic, then I think BDS is fine.
    But if you want to be a general doctor, then opt for BHMS.

    All are good. I am a BHMS student, so as per me, you should pursue BHMS. For further study after BHMS, you can opt for MD or Ph.D course.
    You should visit "ICMR website" for the announcement of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) - Rs.16000/- per month and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) - Rs.24,000/- per month approximately, for your PG and Ph.D studies respectively. Also, you must not forget to tick yes in the box for lectureship.
    You need this lectureship to apply for assistant professor and associate professor job in the government medical colleges. Your package at end of the first month will be around Rs.48000/- to 50000/. This is t
