Which course is better among BBA and B.Com?

B.Com will be good, because here you will have a little knowledge about computer, in B.Com computers you will have computers related subjects. And remaining subjects like accounts, marketing are same in both the groups. The technical knowledge which you gain will be useful for you in your higher studies like MBA and at the job.

Both BBA and B.Com have their own merits and demerits. It depends entirely on the student's area of interest and skills before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management is your priority then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. Both BBA and B.Com offer similar career Opportunity. If students are willing to do an MBA, then BBA might be the better option. But if the students interested to become a CA CS or CFA then B.Com will be a better option for students. BBA is a 3 year undergraduate degree level course.

Dear, Both have better values with PG degree and definitely with some specialised certificate course. Once you plan your admission, ensure that you set target as what is your next plan. If you want to do management studies, BBA will be better option right away.

Both BBA and B.Com offer similar career prospects. If you are willing to do an MBA, then BBA will be the better option as it will help you build a solid foundation and develop your basics which will help you in your MBA. But, in reality it hardly makes any difference whether you do B.Com or BBA. You won't be at a loss if you do B.Com. Only if you are interested to become a Chartered Accountant, CS or CFA then B.Com will be a better option for you. Even if you do BBA you can still pursue the above courses but then things will be comparatively tougher. As a course, BBA focuses more on the practical aspects whereas B.Com focuses more on theoretical aspects. In fact 75% of the syllabus of BBA matches with that of B.Com. In BBA things are a lot more interesting, similar to an MBA, so you will keep learning new things everyday. But what matters the most is from which college you do your BBA or B.Com. A BBA from a top ranked university like Christ University, Bangalore will have more value than a B.Com from a lower ranked university. It does not matter which course you do, just focus on getting admission in some top ranked university and maintaining a good percentage in graduation.

It depends upon your interest, if you are interested in account profile then you should opt for B.Com as we have huge demand for CA in current scenario in India since GST is introduced. If you are interested in theory subject then you can opt for BBA because after completing BBA you can apply for LL.B. Which has a majority of theory subjects.

Both the courses are better in terms of their perspective. To choose the course among these two I would rather say ask yourself. BBA is a management course. B.Com is purely accounts. Both are almost same but different in nature. A BBA can lay the foundation of MBA and many other. B.Com can land up in CA, CMA, etc.
