The one for which your interests, aptitude, personality traits and hobbies are conducive and align with your aspirations! Is better! Both B.Com and BBA have different programme outcomes, different skill sets, different curricula and different kind of people do them. BBA is more inclined towards business execution part, sometimes in specific functions and sometimes in specific industry. B.Com is oriented towards accountancy, taxation and data analysis. Next question is from where to do it? LPU is there to help you out in both the cases, as its curriculum for both is developed with exhaustive consultations and feedback from industry, both being... view more

    Hello,
BBA is more business oriented than B.Com.
BBA offers more case studies, projects and internships which means more learning than B.Com is a wholesome course covering everything in commerce which is why fetches more jobs than BBA. *Firstly figure out you Why for BBA/B.Com?
Choose BBA if you want job prospects like that of an HR, Business Analyst, Marketing and sales manager and so on dealing with management. Choose B.Com if you want job prospects like that of a financial analyst or data analyst. You will majorly deal with statistics and finance and economics.

    Hello Abhishek,
B.Com is more inclined towards accounts, taxation and it is preferable to opt for CA or higher studies M.Com to get a desirable job where BBA is business administration and will be focused more on business related topics. A decent job can be grabbed if you have done BBA from a recognised institute, though MBA would again be necessary for a desirable job.

According to the best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management is your priority, then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. B.Com, on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialisation for post-graduate study. Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills, aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses. Instead of looking at the money-making aspect while ... view more

It thoroughly depends on what you want to do, like if you want to do CA or M.Com then B.Com is the best option you have. Otherwise, if you want to enter the business field, then you can pursue BBA.

    Hello Abhi,
BBA has business studies related subject which gives you a better platform for doing MBA in future. So, it depends upon you if you want to go for quality education, then pursue B.Com from good college, and if your ultimate goal is doing job or MBA after graduation, then BBA is better. All the best.

    Dear Student,
Both B.Com and BBA offer similar career opportunities. If you are willing to do an MBA, then BBA might be the better option as it is also a professional degree. However, if the student is interested to become a CA CS or CFA then B.Com will be a better option for students. It depends on the interest of the student that they should go for. Apart from DU & IP there you can look at IILM University Gurugram as your option for pursuing the course.
