It will mainly depend on the skills you have. There are many examples of the BBA students earning more than the engineers and vice versa. So, it mainly depends on your skills.

Industry (IT) prefers B.Tech in IT more and they offer a better package to them. For the future prospect of an individual, B.Tech IT enjoys better growth in term of promotion also.
