B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) is a four-year course whereas BCA is a 3-year Bachelor's degree in computer application. Syllabus of B.Tech is much more vast than BCA. In terms of career prospects, both are good to get a job in IT or other related fields, but the scope of B.Tech is higher than BCA.

Hi, Syllabus of BCA and B.Sc. IT is similar up to 80 to 90% in various universities. Courses on Computer languages, data structure, databases, and networking etc. Are common. BCA degree course programme is primarily focused on in the field of Computer Applications, whereas B.Sc. IT degree programme primarily focused on subjects with more mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasising specific technologies. Market acceptance of BCA is little more in comparison to B.Sc.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. If you want to pursue computer sciences, there are three ways which are BCA (Bachelor of computer application), B.Sc. In computer Science and B.Tech CS (Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science ). Among them all, the most demanding is B.Tech CS, and after this is B.Sc. CS and in the last it is BCA. Basically, for BCA you can join from Science, Commerce, and Arts background. But for B.Sc. CS or B.Tech CS you need to have a solid background in mathematics. In B.Sc. CS you get to learn about all the topics in a detailed way whereas in BCA only basic knowledge is included. Hope this will help you!

It really doesn't matter as the syllabus for both would be more or less same. Only caution to be taken is that it should be a regular course from a UGC recognised university.

If you want to get a decent job just after graduation, then you should go Computer Science & Engineering. Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer Science required to develop computer hardware and software. A few good institutes offering these courses are:
