Both the roles are different. MBA in Finance is no easy course, think of it as a training for one of the most liable roles in the world. Yes, you will be handling the finances of the business and as everyone knows finances run an enterprise and you will be in charge of that. There are multiple of opportunities for finance grads and the reason for this magnetism is the various subjects taught to the students in the course of 2 years. They include corporate valuation, Investment management, Management control system, Taxation, Financial statement, Tax planning, Analysis and reporting of financial services.

That's a great choice of higher studies and that has a huge scope in the present trend. As I can see you are bit confused between both the specializations. And, hence I would suggest you to specialize in both, try attempting for dual specialization, and you will know which is better. So, you can cope it up as a profession in future.
