Which course is better among MBA or M.Tech in terms of career prospects?

Hi Sambit, Both courses offers very good career prospects. You can opt MBA if you want to make career in management field. Empowered with an MBA degree one can develop a career in a range of fields. One can opt for a variety of career options after MBA in India. Career opportunities after MBA include in the fields of human resource management, operations management, strategic management, international management, and organisational communication etc. Career advancement, management expertise and increased earnings are perhaps the most common reasons given for pursuing an MBA. It is a difficult choice once again, because it all depends on the total performance. Courses are not good or bad and we have the responsibilty of squeezing something out of each course.It is nothing but individual effort.

I would depend upon the kind of career you would like for yourself, your inherent flair for technical education and your adaptability to jobs of different nature. In my opinion M.Tech would be preferable first as it would give you an extra technical specialization which would go as long way in your career. MBA may be done later also if your work demands it. And MBA would give you a job in which technical involvement would be comparatively lesser. Based on these facts you can decide.
