I would suggest MBA in marketing/ operational MBA/ Retail Management from a college giving you a wide platform, exposure and knowledge by good faculty, whether it is regular or distance. Log in to MIT, dy patil and check whether these schemes are good there or not and also log in to some sites to check what are the schemes offered, check from XIMB, LPU, NIRMA etc

    Seshan,
Both Masters and MBA offer the same skills and knowledge more or less. While Masters gives you an in-depth knowledge about a subject, MBA, on the other hand, prepares you for the big corporate world out there. If you have an option out of the two, I recommend you should go for an MBA in whatever field you're interested as it would provide you with the right exposure and practical knowledge required for the field. You can consider colleges Like Chitkara Business School, Sharda University and INLEAD, Gurgaon for the same.

The basic Course Objective of MMM and MBA is:
    • To educate and groom the students to get entry level managerial positions in manufacturing/services organizations or to start and run own ventures with good business knowledge.
    • To facilitate the development of students to take up growing challenges and find and implement solutions those are environ-mentally viable, ethically correct, and socially acceptable.
    • To provide for job opportunities at different levels of management within organizations starting at supervisory level in SME segment and middle level management in large PSUs and MNCs.
