Which course is better among O level and PGDCA for better career prospects?

O-Level is equivalent to Diploma in Engineering, A-Level is Advanced Diploma and you would be able to become a Programmer after passing the O-Level program. Further, PGDCA is a post graduate diploma and that would utilize the B Com as an eligibility if you have studied Mathematics at 12th standard level. You should go for PGDCA (As I think) and if you can register yourself for O-Level then you can run this certification simultaneously PGDCA, this is much better. Moreover, after PGDCA you can opt for MCA and this time in most of the colleges you would be eligible for lateral entry in MCA and this is the plus point of doing the PGDCA. In general, the path at NIELIT goes from O to A to B, but once you complete MCA and PGDCA in total 3 years then you actually reach at B-Level directly and then you are eligible for C-Level (AICTE approved M Tech equivalent). So save your time and upgrade you in style. Bingo. Where lateral entry is not provide, you should go for MCA rather than PGDCA. In many Institutes the Ist year of MCA is awarded as PGDCA. Regards.
