To pursue B.Pharm, one needs to pass 12th in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 60% from a recognized board. After registering with the state Pharmacy Council you may set up your own pharmacy or chemists and druggists shop to stock and sell medicines and dispense them according to doctor's prescription.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Science stream (class 12th) with physics, chemistry and maths/biology/agriculture as the subjects can opt for Bachelors degree as B.Sc Agriculture Science.
The career scope for students of B.Sc agriculture is quite ample these days. With the required qualification in addition to the sufficient wok experience, it is possible for aspirants to get good jobs. Those who desire to continue their education into the advanced levels can do so as well.
Career Opportunities after B.Sc Agriculture
Jobs can be got by students of B.Sc agriculture with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, one can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). But to get employed into this position, it will be needed for applicants to write an admission test. Job opportunities are also available for applicants as teachers. They can write the ARS-NET exam and get employed with colleges as lecturers. Jobs are also available for aspirants as Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) or as Block Development Officers.
