I want to say that if you purpose of studying is for research purpose or for teaching then MBA degree will be more apt. PGDM course is more updated syllabus to the current industrial necessity and it deals with more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. So, if your prime purpose is to work, then PGDM is better and two year PGDM course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is recognized equivalent to MBA Degree of an India University by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). -
Both are good. Global exposure is an added element in PGDM.
