Which course is better, B.Arch or B.Tech?

If you want to start up your own venture in the field of Home Designing and Architecture, B.Arch is the most preferable programme. The students get a lot of opportunity for getting a job or for pursuing a Masters degree abroad after completing a Bachelors in Architecture. It depends on what you are interested in. B.Arch is better for those interested in architecture and design, while B.Tech is better for those interested in engineering and technology.

Both courses are good. A B.Arch. Course is for aspiring architects, whereas a B.Tech. Course is for engineering aspirants. 1. Unlike a B.Arch. Course, a B.Tech. Course allows you to choose from a variety of branches. The most preferred is B.Tech CSE due to its market demand. 2. The duration of the B.Arch course is five years, whereas the B.Tech course has a four-year duration only. 3. With a B.Arch degree, you can become an architectural assistant, an architect, or a project assistant manager. You can become a mechanical, software, or electrical engineer with a B.Tech degree, depending on your specialisation. 4. The average salary of an architect with a B.Arch is around Rs. 3.9 Lacs after experience. The average salary of an engineer varies as per branch; for example, the CSE branch has better salaries than the mechanical branch. You can pursue any of these courses at top IITs by qualifying for JEE. The second paper is for B.Arch. Whereas the first paper of JEE Advanced is for B.Tech in the IITs.

Both Civil Engineering and Architecture are lucrative career pathways. These courses offer both academic and professional opportunities for students. Architecture deals with maintaining the aesthetics and design, whereas Civil Engineering deals with the selection of material and structuring the whole building. So I can think you got your answer.
