Which course is better, B.Sc in agriculture or B.Tech in agriculture?

Hi Vibhav, Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Science stream (class 12th) with physics, chemistry and maths/biology/agriculture as the subjects can opt for Bachelors degree as B.Sc Agriculture Science. The career scope for students of B.Sc agriculture is quite ample these days. With the required qualification in addition to the sufficient wok experience, it is possible for aspirants to get good jobs. Those who desire to continue their education into the advanced levels can do so as well. Many areas are available for a person to choose from if they wish to go for a career in agriculture. Scope for Higher Studies after B.Sc Agriculture Once aspirants complete their graduate level program in agriculture, they can go for the M.Sc program in the same field. There are many specializations available for a person to choose from. Career Opportunities after B.Sc Agriculture Jobs can be got by students of B.Sc agriculture with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, one can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). But to get employed into this position, it will be needed for applicants to write an admission test. Job opportunities are also available for applicants as teachers. They can write the ARS-NET exam and get employed with colleges as lecturers. B.Sc is three-year course while B.Tech is a 4-year course, if you want theoretical knowledge go for B.Sc. If practical knowledge is a priority then go for B.Tech.
