Which course is better for an average maths student of 12th among BA and B.Sc. economics?

I think you should go for B.Sc, as that has got a number of opportunities as compared to BA. And, if you work hard nothing is difficult and you can do well. -
It doesn't matter whether you are a pro in mathematics or an average student. If you can work hard and master it then B.Sc. is a far better option than BA. As it has a good scope.

Both the courses are equally good and offers good career prospects. Finally, it depends on your inclination against subjects. You should work on mathematics regularly.
However, you may prioritized your subjects as:
1. B.Sc in economics.
2. BA.
