Go for PHP and Joomla, these are web designing technologies. PHP is currently the preferred choice of many internet companies as a programming language.
Also, there is a severe shortage of good PHP developers in the market so this makes it a good technology to pursue currently.
You firstly need to develop an aptitude in programming and algorithms if you want to pursue a fulfilling career in software development.
And also you can opt for a certification course in LAMP (Linux+Apache+MySQL+PHP) for enhancing your work skills.

today in big companies dot net is more demand and for average company PHP is good , PHP is fast growing today and very easy to find job in PHP because today cost of any application in PHP is very low as compare to other languages
