Which course is better for hotel management among B.Sc in hospitality and hotel admin. and BHM?

Both are almost similar. It's just a nomenclature. Course content in both the programmes are almost same. Both are equally recognised and accepted both by UGC and industry. I beg to disagree with Dr Bhupesh. IHMs offer 3 years Degree in HAH and is well recognised by UGC. 4 years programme is recognised by AICTE but the industry does not differentiate between graduate with 3 years or 4 years degree. Students with 4 years Degree have some advantage while going abroad for studies. -

I would like to correct Dr. Bhupesh. 3 year degrees are recognised by UGC and 4 year degrees and recognised by AICTE. The basic course curriculum is the same and even the industry does not differentiate between the two. Coming to your question, which is better. Well, there isn't a completely correct response to this. The plus side of 3 year degree is that you get into the job market a year earlier and the fees at 95% is lower for these courses. The plus side of the 4 year degree is that in the case you wish to go for a Masters course overseas, you are eligible for admissions in all colleges whereas some colleges do not accept...more -

6 years agoYou should go for B.Sc Hospitality which is of 3 years duration and is UGC approved too.
