Which course is better in terms of career prospects: BBA or B.Com honors?

Hi, B.Com (Hons) provides student with a wide range of skills in area of commerce, accounting and management. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in account and finance roles. Some universities allow students to specialise in a particular subject in a final year. BBA program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific functional areas such as finance, HR, IT, marketing, etc. BBA graduates get entry-level supervisor and junior management positions in various types of industries in different management functions. In order to grow in career, both B.Com (Hons) and BBA graduate would require an MBA to move up the ladder. If you target is to work in Finance and Accounting then B.Com (Hons) is recommended degree for you else you may opt for BBA. B.Com (Hons) graduates are preferred over BBA graduates by industry because of perceived better quality of students.
