Which course is better in terms of career prospects: MBA in finance or PGDM in finance?

    The college, more than the name of the degree, should matter to you. In India, only universities offer MBA degree. And PGDM is treated equally to MBA. So, most of the top colleges like all IIMs, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, TAPMI offer PGDM and not MBA. So focus on getting into a good college even if it only offers PGDM.

    MBA is a better option. PGDM is a post-graduate Diploma and you won't be able to apply for government jobs.
