Which course is better, MBA or PGDM?

Hello,
Both are considered as equivalent in India; what matters more is from where are you pursuing it. For example, a PGDM from a top-ranked B-school is any day more valuable than an MBA from an average university, and vice-versa. -
PGDM and MBA are the best options if one is considering a career in business. PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a Diploma which is offered by autonomous colleges in contrast to MBA ( Master of Business Administration) which is offered by recognised Universities. Though both are considered similar, there are some small differences between the two. PGDM is more practical and teaches more technical aspects as opposed to an MBA degree.
