To become a software engineer, you should do B.Tech from a good college, but if you are good in studies then you should try for IIT (JEE Mains).

If you have opted for science stream then pursue B.Tech. If you have opted for commerce or arts in HSC then pursue BCA followed by MCA.

Hello Swapnil,
To become software engineer, you have to join Engineering college. But to become software specialist, you can go via BCA & MCA. Easy admission and jobs also.
