MBA is a more popular course in India currently due to the number of job opportunities that it has created to the people.

Hello, Recognition-wise, MBA is obviously more popular than PGDM. Though, in India, it is the college from where you've pursued these degrees that matters more since both PGDM and MBA are considered to be equivalent.
