After the completion of 12th examination, you may choose the field of professional music. The course contains the vocal music and instrumental music. The students are taught about the history of music, the study of music therapy, composing, music interpretation and voice instruction. Students from Science, commerce or arts fields, any one can choose this profession. Once finished the plus two examinations you may go for the B.A. (Hons) in Music, BFA (Music) or, BPA (Music) degree course of 3 years duration conducted by the various arts school in India. There are some other Diploma courses after 12th for the duration of 1 year. After all above, earning the degree is beneficial for the student but it is not necessary to build the career in music. Many of the professionals earn the degree after or during the professional career in order to get a suitable platform in their music career. You just need to continuously practice hard to become successful in the career. If you have the zeal to become a musician, go for the auditions and explore yourself on the stage. Regards.
