Sociology is a great subject. You have already completed your PG. What was your dream when you started on this journey? There are numerous short term post PG courses. But you want a job or still want to study further. For teaching job, it's better to clear the NET exam. There are plenty of other job opportunities also. It all depends on what us it that you want to do.
