Which course should I choose to become a software engineer? I have appeared for 12th exams this year.

Give entrance exams first.
If you get good marks, then only you will get admission in good government colleges.

If you have PCM subjects, then you may consider B.Tech in computer Science or software.
Otherwise, if you are from Commerce with Maths, then you can opt for BCA and, then MCA programme for your career goal.
