Which course should I opt after class 12th for better career prospects: Software or Astronomy?

If you enjoy both the fields EQUALLY, then why not a combination of both of these. Try to find out what kind of research is being done in field of astronomy, and how software development is contributing in this. Then, work back to find out who are the persons who do this, and what are their qualifi
