You should get admission in B.Tech and then look for jobs. For Diploma holders, some colleges offer direct admission based on merit and few colleges take written exam. Diploma holders get admission directly to the 2nd year of B.Tech.
After completing B.Tech, you will have number of opportunities and job profile will also be good.
Some good colleges of B.Tech are:
    1. IITs.
    2. Bengal Institute of Technology – Karnataka.
    3. UTM – Shillong.

You should do B.Tech after diploma because b.Tech is a professional degree course after which you can get better jobs and at good level also. Good colleges of B.Tech are:
    IITs
    PEC university of technology, Punjab
    Bengal institute of technology, Karnataka
    UPES, Dehradun

At first, the syllabus of both will be same:
    BE is knowledge oriented
    B.Tech is skill oriented
B.Tech will be the better option because B.Tech is the first preference of the companies rather than BE.
