Which course should I opt for better career prospects? Is pursuing distance MBA a good study option?

If you have budget constraints, you can opt for Distance MBA. Be careful in choosing the University. IGNOU is ideal. Full time MBA will cost minimum 75,000 per year.

Hi,
If you are working in the similar field and doing MBA in same specialisation then only it make sense. If you can, you should do a full time MBA from a premier institute. You may refer following article (copy and paste in your browser)
