Which course should I opt for better salary prospects: Java or .Net? Is it good for me to pursue Microsoft Certifications?

    Hi Akshay,
    Java and .Net are two entirely different applications and cannot be compared with each other. Yet if you go by the industrial acceptability and demand, Java seems to lead as it is used in business processes of all sizes big or small and because of its robust nature, Java is executable on all Operating Systems where as .Net is the software which can run multiple software/ application but only on Microsoft operating systems.
    If you are keen to be a Software programmer, you can opt for either of the two as both are offering good career opportunities and the domain you wish to pursue a career in.
