BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications and is concerned with applications of computers. It is a 3-year graduation degree course generally for those students who wants to learn computer languages and who want to join software firms after it. Higher education opportunities include MCA and MBA.
B.Sc IT deals with information technology and its applications. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, wireless and networking. Jobs in IT are recession dependent, but let's hope for the best and talk about positives.

I have heard that BCA is a very good option for learning ethical hacking so I would recommend you to go for BCA and it is also a job oriented course.

All you need to pursue is an Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security and receive your cyber security certification. This way, you can be a certified ethical hacker after BCA.

CSSRL provides professional training with hand-on practicals to prepare you for the cyber security workforce. Different training programs have different eligibility, duration, fees etc. You can choose right programme depending on your eligibility. You can call for counselling if details on website are not enough for you to decide.

Dear Anandu, B.Sc. In IT will be better as IT sector is ever growing and technical skills are always used in a company, so B.Sc. Will give you a wider scope than BCA. Regards.

B.Sc CS is a better option in comparison to BCA for becoming an ethical hacker because you will be exposed to system programming in B.Sc which is not a major subject in BCA.
