Hi komal, As you know civil exam is the compitative exam for the post of some govt officer like IAS IPS, IFS etc therefore you have to concentrate on following topics like Current events of national and international importance. History of India and Indian National Movement. Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic. Geography of India and the World. Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political. System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. Economic and Social Development-Sustainable. Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social. Sector Initiatives, etc. General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio- diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization this is the syllabus of civil service exam preliminary. dear, it is my personal advice to you that whatever course that you choose is your choice and your interest. you have to give the time to the current affairs. degree in science or whatever field is not necessity, the important thing is that you should give time to those few topics.
