Which course should I opt in PG for better career prospects: English or Psychology?

Both courses have good career prospects.
English:
B.A English is a fairly flexible course and offers diverse career options such as-
1. Management careers - Marketing, Human Resources etc
2. Hospitality, Event Management, Public Relations, Corporate Communications
3. Media careers like Advertising, Journalism and Film Making
4. Academic careers like Teaching and Research and particularly Training.
English Language Training is a big and growing sector in India with jobs freelance and full-time options as an English language trainer or a voice and accent trainer.
5. You could also do an MA or a B.Ed, or take up some of the Professiona

6. Studying a foreign language full time can be an excellent career option. Getting an advanced degree (Master's / PhD ) in studying foreign languages can have an exciting value proposition.
Psychology:
Psychologists are not the same as psychiatrists, who are medical doctors, using drugs and physical treatments, as well as psychological therapies, to treat mental disorders. Psychologists are also not psychoanalysts. Psychoanalysis is a type of treatment first invented by Freud. It seeks to uncover the unconscious roots of anxiety or other psychological disorders, by relaxing patients (often using a couch) and have them speak freely about their private concerns.
Careers in Psychology can vary from analyzing the employability of a candidate and his suitability to a particular job in a particular company to research on customer behavior, expectations and satisfaction with respect to a particular product or service being offered by a company. From helping the police to come up with a likely profile of a serial murderer to develop just the right incentive system for the salespeople of an organization, careers in psychology can be quite interesting. Advertising and marketing world often need vital inputs of psychology experts to come up with effective advertising campaigns and manufacturing firms need their assistance in coming up with just the right products.

A lot depends upon your intere4st because you give the best in a course in which you are interested. Check both courses in some college sites like maulana , lovely univ, visvesveraya etc and then decide
