Which course should I prefer among B.Arch. and B.Planning and why?

Both the courses you have mentioned have a lot of potential in their own ways. B.Plan is more towards city planning and infrastructure management of a city and architecture is more towards designing buildings and neighborhood's, so scales of both the professions vary a lot.
