After 12 you can take economics as your honors subject for B.A. Or B.Sc. Then, as you do your Master's, you can become an economist in the NSSO or various other organizations. You can also opt for a Doctorate degree, or post-doctorate degree from international universities and become a renowned social scientist or economics professional in World Organisations.

You can choose economics as your honors subject for a B.A. Or B.Sc after grade 12. As you complete your Master's, you can join the NSSO or other organizations as an economist. You can choose to get a Ph.D. or post-doctoral degree from an international university and work as a recognised economist or social scientist in international organisations.

    Hello,
Go for commerce or arts with math as it will be required to pursue Eco in college, else you can also go for PCM with economics as side subject. Good luck.

As per my personal opinion and my experience, if you are interested in Economics, I would prefer you to go for economics honors. Other than economics honors, you can also go in B.Com courses also, or you can choose any arts courses and can select economics, as one of the other subjects.
