You should pursue BA in maths as it is less intense.

Both B.Sc and BA Graduates can apply for government jobs but choosing BA would help in grasping the knowledge of topics and things that can be asked in civil exams. So from a civil exams point of view, BA is more recommendable than B.Sc.

You can go with both the courses. But, I think that B.Sc will be good as you have studied PCM in class 12th, so it will be helpful to you and you can do good, and with a little hard work, you can do better. Also, it will help you in long run in your preparation for the government exams.

Both the ways will take you towards government jobs, but it depends on what type of government job are you aiming for and for that you must have a good grasp on general knowledge and my personal suggestion is that you pursue B.Sc.

If you planning on preparing for the said exams alongside your graduation I would suggest you do BA honors as its course load is slightly less intense and would give you the time you need for your prep. As far as the eligibility goes a graduate degree will make you eligible for these government jobs

Hello Amit, For getting a Govt. job, you will have to appear for the exam conducted by either UPSC or your state Govt. For this graduation is almost must and that too in science. So begin by getting admission in B.Sc. Best wishes
