Which course should I pursue after class 12th to become a neuro surgeon?

Dear Hari Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of nervous system.Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system. Neurologists are physicians specializing in neurology and trained to investigate, or diagnose and treat neurological disorders.Neurologists may also be involved in clinical research, clinical trials, and basic or translational research. While neurology is a non-surgical specialty, its corresponding surgical specialty is neurosurgery. Neurosurgery is a medical specialty Concerened with the prevention,diagnosis, treatment,and rehabilitation of disorders that affect nervous system including Brain, Spinal Cord, Peripheral Nerve,and extra-cranial cerebrovascular syste. The difference between Neurologist and Neurosurgens :- 1. Neurologists are Physicians . He should posses MD in Neurology after MBBS. 2. Neurosurgens are Surgoens.He must complete MS in Neurosurgery. After 12th standard, you need to complete MBBS / Baisc Medical Degree. After MBBS, you can join for MS in Neurosurgery. Thus can become a neurosurgoen. All the Best

You can become a surgeon after MBBS. MBBS is graduation and neurosurgeon is post graduation .You have to clear NEET with very well marks and then you will get admission for MBBS because in India MBBS seats are very limited and lot of students prepare for this exam.

Hi, To become a doctor, first, you need to prepare and clear PMT i.e. pre-medical exam. After 5 years of MBBS, you can opt for surgery. Best of luck.

Hey, You can become a surgeon only after MBBS. And for MBBS, you need to clear NEET with really good marks.
