Engineering is not expensive, there are much good government and autonomous colleges where fee is nominal like NITs, IITs, JNU, AMU, DU. There are many job opportunities after engineering many MNCs and top Indian organizations do recruit engineers for hefty packages. You should work on improving your knowledge of basics of PCM and you can easily get through engineering with a good career.
