    It is good to become a lecturer. It will be much better, if one can become a government Lecturer, getting UGC scale, from the beginning. You can improve yourself intellectually and at the same time, you can enjoy the company of young people.

    You are advised to appear for the NET examination. It is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship. You may also evaluate doing Ph.D.
