    B.Ed is certainly a less wanted degree in big institutions so you should choose Ph.D.

    Hello,
    If you are interested in pursuing your career further as a junior research fellow or an assistant professor, then you should prepare for UGC NET exam. By qualifying UGC NET exam, you can apply to different lecturership job opening announced by different Institutes.
    If you want to pursue career in junior research fellowship, then you can pursue the coordinating institutes of NET. If you secure JRF position for registering and carrying out your Ph.D in your field of study. You will get a stipend of Rs.25000 per month for that.

    (a) B.Ed. from recognised training institutes
    (b) PhD in English
