Which course should I pursue after MBA?

Hi, You can go in for PhD in management in the subject which you have majors in at LPU or you also have the option to go for MS in some good US university. PhD opens the doors to coveted and respected career in teaching and think tank level positions in corporate. Hope this helps DVD

After MBA, you can go for Ph.D in Management: Research in management must address contemporary issues and lead us in the direction of implementable solutions. Such research requires scholars to develop familiarity with ground realities as well as an ability to formulate rigorous research projects. Keeping this in mind, the Ph.D programme at SOM, OPJU is designed to provide the researchers with research skills and knowledge in various domains of management. These programs cater to the needs of regular full-time scholars and working executives. Candidates desirous of gaining a doctoral degree in Management may appear for an interview with the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) of the School of Management (SOM), O P Jindal University, subject to their fulfilling the eligibility requirements and clearing the national level entrance examination. Selected candidates need to go through coursework of one-semester duration and after successful completion of the coursework, they are registered for the Ph.D Programme.

It depends on your stream of specialisation. You could do some additional courses required to enhance your job profile. You could also apply for Ph.D if you are interested in further studies. You could also learn some software used in the corporate sector to add up to your skills.

If you are UGC/NET qualified then you are exempted from LPUNEST but to avail the maximum scholarship it is advisable to appear in LPUNEST.
