Which course should I pursue among BBM and fashion designing? Is there any job security in fashion designing?
Currently, I am in the 12th standard from Mount Carmel School. My hobbies are sketching and painting. I do not have any job experience and had never been to any workshop.

Right brained careers like those in design or sports are not about security. They are about passion and pursuit. If you do not like these words, turn back now. If you are ready to plunge yourself into this, then understand all the career options that sketching and painting bring and that includes art, graphic design, fashion, web design, game design, animation and VFX. Now, careers that are computer based would make you a little more secure since you are able to take projects from abroad too.

Learn Fashion Design and make sure that you learn the abilities to market your skills to right people. Eventually, you would be paid well.

Hi Megha,
Go for fashion designing as there are wide opportunities inside the course. To name a few,after you finish your graduation in Fashion Des you can start as an intern if you like designing. Or you can foray into fashion marketing, fashion styling fashion photography, fashion journalism etc. So basically of u take up fashion Des it doesn't mean u can only design clothes. Plenty of options are out there. BBM, is pretty saturated now. Everyone does that nowadays. Better go for fashion if that's your passion. It's not about how secured your job is.
