Which course should I pursue among MA in History and MA in political science? Which one has better prospects?

I am a UPSC aspirant. History is my optional subject so I have command on both History and politics but when I see the syllabus of UGC NET of both subjects, I feel that the Political Science syllabus is easy as compared to that of History.
