Which course should I pursue BBA or B.Tech?

Hi BBA (3 Years): BBA is a Bachelor of Business Administration which is undergraduate course which you can pursue after you have cleared your 12th standard. This degree offers an optimum blend of theory and practice to provides a solid foundation in general business management with specializations in area of choice. B.Tech (4 years, after class 12) The engineering courses in India are regulated and set up under the aegis of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Admission is usually through an engineering entrance examination. If you had done both Science and mathematics, so there are lots of options available for you which you can choose for your further career like you can go for engineering in different streams like B.Tech in CSE (Computer Science engineering), Information technology (IT), Mechanical engineering (ME), Civil engineering, Chemical engineering, Biomedical engineering, Biotechnology, Food technology, Electrical engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Electronics and Computer engineering, Chemical engineering, Automobile engineering, CHE- Petroleum, Aerospace engineering, ME- Mechatronics. So above are the streams which you can choose if you have done both Science and mathematics. The most important thing which rely totally on your area of your interest. When you are sure about your area of interest then you can choose the above engineering streams for pursuing your graduation. There may not be many institutes and universities which will be offering you all such engineering courses in one campus. You should prefer the university or institute which offers you good placements and good practical and industrial exposure also and should have good infrastructure also. There are different institutes and universities which offer such courses are Lovely Professional University, Birla Institute of technology, KIIT University, Jaipur national university and few others. Harsh though both the courses are good but B.Tech is better being a professional degree. So, I think you should go for B.Tech as it will open better prospects for you. These days many good universities are offering integrated/ dual B.Tech-MBA degrees which you can finish in the same time that you are going to take to finish BBA-MBA, thus saving your one year. It also saves you from the pressure of finding a college for your higher degree as well as the tension of giving and qualifying the entrance test. Check the websites of some good universities offering integrated/ dual degree and also giving good placements. Some of the universities also offer scholarships to meritorious students. Both options of doing MBA after BBA or B.Tech are equally good. B.Tech has slight advantage that you have an engineering degree, which will help you get good jobs in engineering firms after MBA. With BBA MBA you will get mostly non technical managerial role after MBA. If you aim is Marketing or HR you may opt for BBA MBA as you will save one year.
