Which course should I pursue for better future prospects, B.Tech in food technology or B.Pharm?

Hi, B.Tech in food technology course deals with food engineering and food sciences. It provides in depth knowledge of the fields like food processing, food packaging, nutrition, storage etc. Any person who pursues this course gets the edge of being known as food scientist or food technocrat. The course has broad career prospects and provides with diversity of job profiles such as food scientist, process manager, food sales representative, etc. The top recruiters in the field of food technology include Department of Food and Public Distribution, FCI, Cadbury, Venkys, Hatsun, etc. While B.Pharma is a 4 year undergraduate programme which is compulsory for anyone who wants to practice as a pharmacist. B. Pharmacy is study of preparing and conferring drugs and medicines for a number of illnesses and deficiencies. After B. pharmacy and some Job experience one can apply for Drug Inspector and Pharmacist government Jobs exams. B.Pharma graduates are also eligible for SSC, UPSC, State PSC and bank jobs, etc. like other graduates. So in my opinion B.Pharma is better.
