Which course should I pursue in the counselling field?
I have done Masters in communications. I am a commerce graduate. I live in Bangalore.

You can choose subjects related to psychology, education or social work, or might choose an unrelated major. If choosing an unrelated major, the student will need to take some electives in psychology.
You need to specialise in one particular stream.
