Which course should I pursue, M.Ed or MA in education?

I am a science teacher and working on contractual basis. I have qualified TGT exam.

    Professionally it is advisable to go for M.ed.

    Yes.but M.Ed is not essential for our career.But if u want to do job in school service. please choose MA. because it has an academic background. according to my view at first complete MA.then M.Ed. Now u have to choose. decisions is yours.
