Which course should I pursue, my score in JEE Mains is 40?
I scored 68 percent marks in my HSC.

You cannot get any college under JEE counselling as you have scored low marks and only 68% in board exams. You need to have at least 75% if you belong to the OBC or general category.
So you better try for the colleges that accept both JEE Mains marks and board exam marks for admission.
