Which course should I pursue to become a pilot?

Hello Sumer,
The basic prerequisites:
I. You must complete your class 12th under 10+2 system or it is equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in mathematics and physics.
ii. You must be minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
iii. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
iv. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.

If your aim is to become Pilot in Indian air force, you can do one thing after Intermediate examination. You have to apply for the NDA Examination only if you have study Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects in your Intermediate examination.
Intermediate candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination, but you must be unmarried only. This entry is only for unmarried male candidates, no girls are allowed to apply for NDA.
To apply for NDA Examination, your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, Notification published twice in a year and the notification updated in the employment Newspaper or in the official UPSC website.
