Which course should I pursue to become a programmer: BCA or computer science engineering?

Hi,
As far as I know computer science deals with both theory and practical stuff whereas BCA covers more practical stuff i.e. computer science deals with hardware stuff as well. Computer science is better in terms of programming language.
