Which course should I pursue to become a software engineer? Which are the good colleges for the same?

With the boom in the digital world software engineering in a very good choice. You could take a Bachelor degree in computer Science, computer information systems, software engineering or mathematics. All the Bachelor courses shall be for 4 years and then you could pursue a Masters if you want to specialise further. There is also an option for associate degrees and diplomas which are for a shorter period but they don't get you a decent paying job. The highest paying programming languages are Java, Python, R, Swift etc. SO please choose wisely the languages you would like to excel in. Some of the well known colleges in India offering computer Science courses include the IITs, the IIITs, various NITs, BITS, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Thapar University, Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Nirma University - Institute of Technology, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Manipal, kalinga Institute etc.
